Our origins…

The name “Pintxo” is little known and somewhat unusual in its pronunciation “txo”. When we take an interest in Basque culture, we discover how the language, customs and foods are both precious and different for the Basques. Often when thinking of Spanish cuisine we think of tapas, forgetting that PINTXOS are so much more.

What is a Pintxo?

A Pintxo was originally a small slice of bread on which was placed a small portion of food. The origin of its name comes from the fact that the food was held on to the bread by a toothpick (a Pintxo in Euskara). Nowadays, pintxos have evolved into small bites that offer an explosion of flavor in the mouth, ready to satisfy the most discerning palate. By combining the most amazing food such as charcuterie, octopus, Spanish cheeses, you will be compelled to try everything and to live a typically Basque journey of flavor. Let us guide you to the exclusive Spanish wine list which consists of mostly private imports. Inside the establishment, you will find a friendly and warm ambiance, perfect for any occasion. For a remarkable culinary experience, let us have the pleasure of delighting your palate with authentic flavors.
